It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Zita Campbell, who passed away peacefully on May 25, 2026, at Antrim Area Hospital with her loving family by her side. Her passing has brought great sorrow to all who knew and loved her, while also leaving behind cherished memories of a life devoted to family, love, and kindness.
Zita was the dearly loved wife of Rodney and a devoted mother to Lisa and Zoe, and a much-loved mother-in-law to Nicholas. She was an immensely proud and caring granny to Jack, Adam, Reuben, and Zara, all of whom brought great joy and happiness to her life. Family was always at the heart of everything Zita did, and she treasured every moment spent with those she loved most.
She was also the beloved daughter of Mary and the late Peter Dolan and a cherished sister to Mary, Veronica, Paul, Michelle, and their families. Zita will be remembered fondly for her warmth, compassion, gentle spirit, and the love she shared so freely with family and friends throughout her life.
Her passing leaves a tremendous void in the lives of all who knew her, but her memory will continue to live on through the many lives she touched with her kindness and care. Family and friends will forever treasure the special moments shared with her and the love she gave so generously.
A Service of Thanksgiving for Zita’s life will be held at S & J Irvine’s Funeral Home, 31–35 Irish Quarter South, Carrickfergus, on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., followed by interment in Victoria Cemetery.
House private, please.
Heartfelt condolences are extended to Rodney and the entire Campbell and Dolan families during this difficult time.
